The discovery of fragments of the RT collection here in Tokyo have ignited plans for a new museum of contemporary ephemera. The collection, believed to be substantial, comprises pieces from the US as well as a significant number of items from Japan.
International negotiations are underway involving the Aoyama cognoscenti with a view to consolidating the Japanese holdings in a phase 1 launch of the eastern campus of the museum.
