Macromedia to Offer Server-Interactive ‘Flash’ for Cell Phones, PDAs

During his stay in Japan in mid-November, Elop also said in an interview that Macromedia would focus more on the interaction with Web services provided in the .NET environment of Microsoft Corp.

Additionally, he said that Macromedia would push for Flash to be accepted by makers of cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs) and home video game consoles.

Unlike some, I don’t necessarily think Flash is evil, but it does seem to require careful thinking and a lot of restraint.
