Advances in Straw Technology

When I was very young my grandfather owned a pub in a small country town. He’d give me a bottle of Fanta which I would drink with a waxed paper straw. By the end of the drink the straw would have pretty much disintegrated. These straws had a particular taste and texture and loom large in some of my earliest memories.
Which is all by way of saying that I try to keep up with advances in straw technology and am excited to be able to present what I believe is the state of the art in suckability. Recently I’ve noticed these remarkable straws appearing with the small cartons of orange juice I buy from the vending machine around the corner. What can I say? It just doesn’t get any better than this.
