Music during surgery may ease patients’ recovery

This doesn’t seem terribly surprising—in fact I would have expected this to have been tested already. Anyway, a combination of soothing music and encouraging words while under general anaesthesia helps certain aspects of recovery (more than just music alone, interestingly).
