iBook Otaku
Some people go to extraordinary lengths to customise their machines, and nowhere is this truer than in Japan. Dr. Mip created a transparent enclosure for his iBook which has to be seen to be believed. (The page is in Japanese but the pictures are worth a look).
He even posted step-by-step photographs of the process. This takes the cake.
