Big Day for OS X Shareware
I don’t think I’ve ever paid for shareware faster than this. WindowShade X fixes an astounding omission from OS X; it allows collapsing windows to their menubars rather than to the Dock. Version 1.5 adds flexibility and features. I can’t live without this.
What a brillient little thing this is. Loads your Entourage contacts onto your iPod under a folder called “_ADDRESS BOOK” so you can browse them like any playlist. The iPod is PDA-bound.
piDock is on its way to becoming the FinderPop of OS X. At the moment it lets you navigate volumes and open files easily, but when it gets things like “Open with…” and other FinderPop-ish enhancements, it’s going to be an absolute must-have.
VueScan is probably the most-updated app I’ve ever followed. Seems almost daily there’s a new version. Doesn’t Ed Hamrick have anything else to do? Thankfully, it appears not. This is the way to scan under OS X.
