Sweet Jesus! Read this book and you will never eat a fast food hamburger again. Schlosser’s research is frightening, but his writing is beautifully understated and controlled. If I’d come to know what he knows, I’d be screaming it on street corners like a crank.

Read this book, then start thinking about antidotes.
