Whither the Panda?
Here’s something you don’t see much anymore: the Yonda? Panda. He (she? it?) was part of an advertising campaign for a publisher (yonda? means “did you read?” or “have you read?”) and was simply everywhere for a while. Cute graphic. I miss the little fellow.
Note: I’m inclined to think it’s a he because, like Donald Duck, he doesn’t wear any pants. Daisy usually wore a dress and Minnie never went bare-arsed but for some reason male characters seem to be able to get away with it. Don’t try this in public, however, gentlemen.
