Been listening to Moments From This Theatre by Dan Penn and Spooner Oldham, a live recording of concerts in Ireland and England from a few years back. Just wonderful.

Penn (guitar, vocals) and Oldham (electric piano) wrote some absolute classics: Do Right Woman, Sweet Insiration, I Met Her in Church, The Dark End of the Street. The list goes on and on and on - something like 500 songs between the two of them. Their version of Do Right Woman on this album is the best you’ll hear.
