Fizzer of an April 1st

Bit of a fizzer as far as April Fool’s tricks go this year. Nothing happened! I’m relying on the internet for some fun stuff. At the office there was no removing the balls from the mice (or taping over the optical ones). There was no installing desktop patterns composed entirely of trash can icons and then moving the real one to somewhere in the middle of the screen. Nobody put “shutdown” AppleScripts in anyone’s Startup Items folders (and nobody put rude sound files in there, either).
Looks like I have to get my fun and games vicariously this year…

Try the Sony Fontopia range. I am very happy with the $50 MDR-EX70LP. If you really want noise cancelation they have a $200 pair.

I did hear a good radio interview this morning by a man purportedly from an institute in Europe about the “Perverted Pyramid Diet” espousing vast quantities of saturated fats and cigs. Title of the book? “Fat, Schmat! Embrace a RingDing.” Not available at a bookstore near you.
