The Weight of the Past (& Lost Negatives)
The past is a mighty tree forever growing out of the soil of the present (the future lies buried underground). We climb among the dense foliage, build tree houses there, gather the fallen fruit and seek comfort in its cool shade. But occasionally limbs grow too heavy. They sag and snap – and are gone.
Which is all by way of saying that I can’t find a series of negatives from a trip through Kyushu in the early ’90s. They must be around here somewhere. But damned if I can lay a hand on them. Buried in a cupboard somewhere I suspect. Will have to keep searching…

Whoa - congratulations! You better be sending us entries via satellite from those hot springs.
I’m rather jealous actually - unemployment has a certain appeal at times and this is one of them.
Enjoy!

Ooh, no; no computers where I’m going! I’m sick of looking at ‘em. Will be taking a camera, though.
Thanks, as always, for the good wishes.
