OK, you got me. It was March 23, 1967. I’m Thursday’s child (“far to go” - tell me about it).

My parents had multiple Englebert Humperdinck records along with, somewhat more credibly, a smattering of B-grade psychedlia. I think they became self-conscious when the kids started appearing, and the whacky stuff got phased out as they embarked on the long, slow road to Billy Joel.
