Curly Flat is “an appreciation of the work of Michael Leunig” and is probably the best place to start if you want more info about Leuning. There’s an introduction to Leunig’s characters, a bio, interviews and links to other sites.
Be sure to take a look at Leunig’s takes on the internet, especially “Yabby Net” (a yabby is a freshwater crayfish) and “Nocturnal Domestic Scene.” The scans are poor quality (1-bit) but you can get a sense of the trademark pathos and whimsy.
There’s also a great scene from the voyage of Vasco Pyjama.
A Google search for Leunig returns a bunch of results, but Curly Flat will satisfy any cravings for a while.
