The Greens and National continued to pressure the Government today over how it handled the genetically engineered (GE) corn scare.

Papers released at the weekend show public relations consultants who worked for the food industry redrafted a government press release on the affair in December last year. They also tried and failed in an attempt to have any mention of sweetcorn removed from references to the potentially GE contaminated seeds.
