Why is it the throwaway lines get the best responses? I introduced a previous post with a line about wanting to sign up for the human extinction lobby. Derek sent a comment (which I’ve been meaning to get on the main page) in which he points out that there actually is such a thing:

I support the movement, however I think it should be confined to the caucasian race only, since every other race of aboriginal peoples (Africans, Native Americans, Polynesians, Asians, etc.) have proven track records of co-existing harmoniously with nature. Only the caucasian race has consistently destroyed the environment (nuclear, industrial) stole entire continents (Australia, North and South America, and working on Africa) and killed billions of plants, animals, and humans in the process.
