I’ll elaborate on this nonsense in just a minute: need to see if it works first.
“The quick brown fox,” he said –
“Jumps over the lazy dog, doesn’t it?” she replied.
Some common contractions:
- don’t
- didn’t
- wouldn’t
- couldn’t
- he’s, he’ll, he’d
- she’ll, she’s, she’d
- they’ll, they’d
- we’re, they’re
- I’ll, I’m, I’ve, I’d
“Naturally I was curious when he said to me, ‘Don’t ever go in there.’”
