The Lego Credit Card

I’m not making this up: you can now get a Lego credit card (page is in Japanese).

This is not the first time I’ve posted on the sad decline of Lego, but a credit card, for god’s sake! It’s just… creepy.

Many shops and restaurants have racks of free advertising postcards near the door, and I often take some of the better-designed examples to add to my collection of graphic design and advertising ephemera. I saw this one and thought it was a joke by some Adbusters-style guerrilla art collective. Silly me, of course it’s not; it’s real.
