Nodai Baseball Team

More audio. This one’s pretty funny (assuming you find creepy, militaristic overtones funny). Baseball is taken very seriously in Japan. There’s a major high school series every year, and things get even more intense at the university level.

I live just behind the Tokyo University of Agriculture (Tokyo Nogyo Daigaku, or Nodai for short), and every afternoon at precisely 4:58 the baseball team runs past my house. This is what they sound like as they run through the neighbourhood.
