Arts & Letters Daily

Arts & Letters Daily is back (I notice, somewhat belatedly) thanks to The Chronicle of Higher Education, but by god it’s a maddening layout. Like tearing a page from the classifieds section of a broadsheet. Thank heavens for scroll-wheels.

If you use Arts & Letters Daily as your browser’s homepage — as I do — you will see each new item as it arrives at the top of the column. I never scroll down the page, since there is never anything new ‘below the fold’.

Peter — Thanks for the link about the Japanese manhole covers on your site. Excellent.

arts and letters daily is incomparably worthwhile. It dusts off my 80 year-old brain every day - leaving me panting for more.
