Who would you listen to?
Doctors want GM crop ban
BBC, via dangerousmetaGenetically modified (GM) crop trials in Scotland should be halted immediately as a “precautionary measure” to safeguard public health, senior medical figures have said.
The British Medical Association (BMA) was making its case for a moratorium in a submission to the Scottish Parliament’s health committee on Wednesday.
Its submission said that “insufficient care” has been taken over public health and concerns are “serious enough” to justify an immediate end to the trials.

Fortuantely, the Dr’s have something over the politicians in the area of grey matter.
I agree there hasn’t been enough research into the effects of GM foods. What (if any) are the long term effects? Unfortunately the developers and politicians only have the almighty $ in their sights and their only concern is to rush the process along without thought to the consequences.
A bit like agent orange back in 60’s - use it and years down the track say, “oops”.
