Fuck the Public Domain < Home > Tokyo MT Users Gathering: What Gives?

Farewell to TWICS

TWICS was Japan’s first public internet provider. I started using them more than 10 years ago and my twics.com address is the one most of my friends use. If you’ve been contacting me at twics.com address, please start using my Antipixel address (change “twics” to “antipixel” and everything should be fine).

I received a package from the new owners of TWICS yesterday telling me that the service is changing to another domain – and that my user name has somehow already been taken! If I migrate to the new services, I need to start using a new user name, but what’s the point of that? The hosting service I use here already does everything I need (and much more) so from now on I’ll be handling everything through them.
