SmartyPants 1.1
John Gruber has released SmartyPants 1.1 which performs various transformations on text posted to MT sites so that you can sleep better at night.
In addition to smart quotes it handles en- and em-dashes as well as ellipses. It can also convert the ‘backtick’ style of quotation which blights many an online article.
