It might be time to take a look at another of the onigawara I salvaged from that old house nearby that got demolished last year.
This one faced east.

It does have the bloody hearts actually! This and the other large one both do (they faced east and west). Creepy creepy creepy.
The smaller ones don’t, however, so not all was lost. Although now I guess everything is lost because the house has been destroyed. I’ll post the others soon.
