by the way, have you heard about this, similiar but different: Leave a digital post-it note at a wi-fi hub, or, if you have a GPS fon, anywhere at all. When there is someone else at that location, and they ask for anybody who has left a digital note at that location (done through GPS), they can read (or hear) what note you have left. The equivalent of wall graffitti. Imagine a restauant where some before you had a great meal. Before you go in, you check to see if there are any notes at that location. Endless marketing possibilities with this. niji

Niji —- I don’t have a GPS receiver so the coordinates are off in my case (not that it matters), but the idea of leaving ‘notes’ at nodes virtual and actual is pretty damned cool (although it reminds me of that browser add-on a few years back —- it never quite caught on I think —- that let you leave notes on sites that others could read).
