It’s raining hard here, hardest rain of the year, a real rainy season feel to it. Like the sky has bad Tourette’s and the raindrops are all the words it can think of.

that's the best simile i've ever heard. also, it would make my day if it just started to rain random curse words. that would be even better than the simile.

I live around Seattle it feel wierd when it is not raining.

Yesterday was the first full day of sunshine in DC without rain since April 28. It was a picture perfect day: 27C/80F, no humidity. This is not typical for our area. The last two years we've had a drought. Now we're having just the opposite.
The Washington Post reported today that people woke up yesterday and wondered what that big bright orange disk was slowly rising in the sky.
A perfect day for our tenth wedding anniversary!
