Japan Photography Mailing List

lil and Juergen Specht have launched the Japan Photography mailing list which, given their bona fides, ought to be worth subscribing to pronto.

The Japan Photography Mailing List is a forum for both amateur and professional photographers as well as photography enthusiasts living in Japan or with an interest in Japanese photography to meet online, exchange ideas, learn new techniques, discuss new and emerging digital imaging technologies and camera equipment, ask questions, discuss exhibitions and other photographers’ work, offer photography tips, arrange outings and gallery visits, and promote their own work in a receptive environment.

If you’re interested in photography of and in Japan but you don’t happen to live here, I’m sure you’ll be very welcome all the same.

Hi I am a professional Australian food, corporate & digital media photographer. I will be visiting Tokyo during April-June 2004 and would like some advice on “fabulous places” to shoot for my own interest, eg rural, architecture, landscapes and also some names of food magazine. Hope you can help.
