So Hot

It was so hot today that I occasionally forgot to breathe. The air inside me would get trapped and, like an abductee banging on a cellar door, have to start calling for attention. Eventually the drowsy passer-by that was my brain, meandering somewhere in the neighbourhood, would hear and come to the rescue. That’s how hot it was today.

No kidding. It’s a belter over here in the UK (again, finally) too.
At last, the English Summer seems to be back from it’s 2.5 week, er, “summer” vacation…

Pete —- I read on the BBC that you’re expecting record temperatures. Hope it doesn’t get to that.
Axel —- My god! I had no idea. I’ll stop complaining immediately and send all the cool thoughts I can your way (Seville and Portugal, too).
