More on Face Transplants
I’ve mentioned the possibility of face transplants twice before. The BBC keeps the subject going with a story that British, French and American teams are all close to performing the procedure.
Surgeons now say they have reached the point where they could carry out the operation.
They say improvements in anti-rejection drugs now make it possible.
I guess my interest arises from just really somehow wanting this to be a success for the patient. Imagine what they’ve gone through by the time they find themselves on that operating table.
