December Moon

I caught an astonishing moonrise tonight from the east end of Yoyogi-Uehara station. It was as big and yellow as it gets … the last warm moon for a while. We’ve got some cold ones coming up.
I’m not saying this for any particular reason other than the need of a buffer between that last story and the terrible next.

Jeremy — that’s my station. I saw the same moon and it took my breath away. And it made me think of the Leonard Cohen line: ‘they’ll never, ever reach the moon. At least not the one that we’re after.”
