Excellent favelets list

Sean Willson provides a great list of browser favelets that’s worth taking a look at (thanks, Sean). Contains some old favourites as well as new discoveries. Favelets, as they say, rock.

Here’s one in that category that a friend and I built that you might find useful:

Confusing Words

I’m a big fan of Firefox’s keymarks, which do something along similar lines. Ie, you can assign the keyword “movie” to the IMDB search query url, replacing the search string with a “%s” token.

Then all you need to do is type “movie mulholland drive” (or whatever) into the location bar, et voila. It’s a lot easier than doing all that highlighting and bookmark clicking with favelets. And there’s no Javascript involved either.
