Comment No. 5000

I made a little deal with myself recently (about which I told no one) that the person who posted comment number 5000 here would get a prize. At 12:22 today that comment arrived, posted by none other than UltraBob. Congratulations, Bob! Fabulous prizes await you:
- A genuine piece of plastic sushi from Kappa-bashi, the plastic food supply district (any kind of sushi you want as long as it’s salmon)
- A random book from my shelf (in your case, Bob, I think it will be “The Humane Interface” by Jef Raskin — let me know if you’ve read it)
- A packet of delicious squid jerky, ideal for dipping into your favourite mayonnaise while drinking the hell out of beer. Mmmm!
Get in touch to claim your prizes, Bob. Hurry! Don’t delay. The squid jerky is non-negotiable, and I have to watch you eat it (although you probably already know that it’s actually delicious).

And for comment 5002? Maybe a pair of soiled underpants from a sweaty bum?

Congratulations, UltraBob! And to UltraMom for winning the walkathon! Wow!
And comment 5003? A big kiss from Jeremy! Yeah!
(I haven’t gotten that far with my year-old blog. I’ll count up to 100…). (-:

Congratulations! Wow, I haven’t been here in awhile. Well I haven’t really been anywhere in awhile. Time to start frequenting Antipixel again. I better grab a big bowl of pretzels.

Congrats Bob, even if I was just ahead of you — I’m not bitter! Enjoy the squid.
Doesn’t the following sound like something from Hitchhiker’s Guide?
Congratulations Bob, and enjoy the squid!

I have a question - what is your favourite font of all time, Jeremy? And is living in Tokyo as cool as it looks in ‘Lost in Translation’?
P.S. Yes Boob, congrats from Perth, W.A.!

Mmm… squid jerky and a can of Kirin happoshu — what every salaryman should come home to. Missing Japan again.

Yay for squid jerky.
