The not-so-secret entrance to the Prada store in Tokyo. One day I may even enter.

That’s a really aesthetically-pleasing picture — the juxtaposition of the arch and the gradient-like steps is quite nice!
Just as a question, were the color curves for this picture edited?

I didn’t edit the curves as such, just the white balance when I converted the raw file in Photoshop. I toned down the yellow ‘tungsten effect’ because the slate on the floor looks better in a higher-temperature light.

ok, what’s with you and your Prada-store obsession?
Stop taking picture o it and go in, buy yourself a wallet or something, you’ll feel better… ;)

It’s the lighting that speaks to me, just as much as the composition of lines and shapes. So difficult with interiors. Bravo.

Love the image. The curves and color involved gives it a tranquil feel.

I love the Prada boutique on Omotesando - it’s like a big chunk of bubblewrap from the outside.

Jeremy, Unbeknownst to you, there may be a Starbucks or a 7/11 between that mystical white arch and the rest of the capitalist empire. Just what you will need on a hot day while standing outside, debating if you should go in or not. However, like Pandora’s box being opened, maybe you shouldn’t go in. If you do, then you mention it to the wife, maybe she’ll want something, then next thing you know, there goes your new Powerbook. Just my 2 cents.
