I’m not in denial! I’m just in the wrong dimenson.
Posted by foobario 2004.11.07, 08:44
wow… rg sees your denial, and raises you ignorance, hatred, fear, hyperbole, and outright fucking stupidity. A hard hand to beat, when the holder is either unwilling to think for themselves, or merely incapable of the same.
Be glad you are just ‘in denial’… compared to cromags like rg you are in a relative state of enlightenment.

“rather have a monkey than frankenstein” - aha! the primary motivation for (51% of) voters in the US - now it all makes sense! I was starting to wonder…

George Bush has a subnormal IQ.
In a report published Monday, the Lovenstein Institute ofScranton, Pennsylvania, detailed its findings of a four-month study of the intelligence quotient of President George W. Bush. Since 1973, the Lovenstein Institute has published its research to the educational community on each new president, which includes the famous “IQ” report among others. There have been twelve presidents over the past 50 years, from F.D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush, who were rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they produced without aid of staff, their ability to speak with clarity, and several other psychological factors which were then scored using the Swanson/Crain system of intelligence ranking. The study determined the following IQs of each president as accurate to within five percentage points. In order by presidential term: * 142 -FranklinDelanoRoosevelt * 132 - Harry S Truman * 122 - Dwight David Eisenhower * 174 - John Fitzgerald Kennedy * 126 - Lyndon Baines Johnson * 155 - Richard Milhous Nixon * 121 - Gerald R. Ford * 175 - James Earle Carter * 105 - Ronald Wilson Reagan * 098 - George Herbert Walker Bush * 182 - William Jefferson Clinton * 091 - George Walker Bush In IQ order: * 182 - William Jefferson Clinton * 175 - James Earle Carter * 174 - John Fitzgerald Kennedy * 155 - Richard Milhous Nixon * 147 -FranklinDelanoRoosevelt * 132 - Harry S Truman * 126 - Lyndon Baines Johnson * 122 - Dwight David Eisenhower * 121 - Gerald R. Ford * 105 - Ronald Wilson Reagan * 098 - George Herbert Walker Bush * 091 - George Walker Bush
The six Republican presidents of the past 50 years had an average IQ Of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest at 155. President George W. Bush rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. No president other than Carter [D] has released his actual IQ (176).

“rather have a monkey then frankenstein running our country”
That really is an interesting comparison. Given the fact that “Frankenstein” refers to “Victor Frankenstein,” the brilliant but mis-guided scientist who is able to recreate life in a laboratory and not his monster, who is never named, rg seems to suggest that it is better for man of subhuman intelligence to govern a country rather than a man of extraordinary intelligence and creative vision.
Perhaps rg, knowledgeable of his own intellectual inferiority, associates more closely with Bush, who studies show, is 20 times more popular with chimps than other candidates for president. What an interesting comparison, indeed.

M. Douglas Wray, as much as I’d love to believe that, the Lovenstein Institute does not exist (I live in Scranton); the study is just a hoax.

whether the study is a hoax or not, it’s still amusing and probably true anyway.
It’s a sad sad world we live in.

I’m thinking the state of denial probably has an open border to Canada!
Posted by rg 2004.11.07, 14:07
wow, you guys cant argue. Kerry changed his story to whatever the people wanted. People didn’t like war, he said he was anti war. People wanted war, he was pro war. at least Bush stood by his beliefs even though he isnt a good public speaker.
Go take your frankenstein monster and better luck in 2008.. that is, if Kerry is man enough to run again and not sit at the table with ketchup bottles all night.

foobario: I’m not an american, and I don’t care either way in the bush/kerry thing. But why is it so many kerry supporters have nothing better to say than “If you disagree with me you must be stupid”? Not exactly a good way to sway the opinions on the undecided.

While immersed in reading the “Lovenstein Institute” study, you may have missed this:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/24/politics/campaign/24points.html
“Mr. Bush’s score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test at age 22 again suggests that his I.Q was the mid-120’s, putting Mr. Bush in about the 95th percentile of the population, according to Mr. Sailer. Mr. Kerry’s I.Q. was about 120, in the 91st percentile, according to Mr. Sailer’s extrapolation of his score at age 22 on the Navy Officer Qualification Test.”

Why does everyone assume your denial is of American politics? Maybe you’re declaring that you’re Egyptian. ;-)

kristen- i was wondering the same thing…until I clicked on over to the comments I just assumed jh was referring in some way to the McDonalds post, like perhaps he really loves that cardboard!

Hey Stephen,
Maybe rg does compare more closely with Bush (good for him), but despite all of your big words I’m sure you put some time into, you’re a jackass. It’s not your place to insult someone, nor does his opinion make him intellectually inferior.
Ya dick

From the pot to the kettle, KG.

rg, my dear, I believe the official word from the Republican party nowadays is that Kerry is a Radical Liberal Bastard, and not this man of popular opinion of which you speak.

It’s a little late, but I am still angry with John Kerry’s rantings. It just sounded like, in the debates and on the campaign trail, that John Kerry was creating mythical realities about what Bush and other Republicans stand for, just to win an election. He didn’t come across as forthright.
