2005

Very belated New Year’s greetings to you. I hope 2005 is peaceful, prosperous, and natural-disaster-free.
I ended up having a very good no-computers holiday in Western Australia: I checked mail once or twice upon arrival but quickly lost interest. It’s good to just walk away from it for a while. Returned to Japan yesterday (it was -2° when we touched down but quickly rose to a balmy 10) and it’s back to work today.
All the best for 2005, everyone, the year of the rooster. Cock-a-doddle-do and away we go.
P.S. I’ll get around to clearing the comment spam as soon as I can stand to look at it.

First, nice photo. It’s nice to have a relaxing holiday, and happy 2005 to you! The problem, however, is that it’s not yet the year of the rooster, since the Lunar New Year isn’t for another month. shrug
