When we are outside, we are at the mercy of things — the light, the wind, the rain. But when they come inside, they are at the mercy of us. A signature quality of Japanese architecture is how it treats the elements with respect. It is, traditionally, exceptionally elegant about how where we are ends, and where we are not begins.

That is beautiful. It looks like it could be printed on a piece of cloth and hung on the wall. thats if its if properly done.
