Cloud on the 18th floor

I like the cloud that’s wandering into the picture on the 18th floor (or thereabouts).

I also like the way I can just insouciantly post something here as if I haven’t been absent for weeks (lots of work, back injury, mild existential discombobulation).

Wow… I never comment, but this is beautiful. Great picture!

Would it be possible to see a larger version?

It’s your insouciance that keeps me coming back.

Wonderful picture.

lovely fade. what does insouciantly mean?

Posted by Jeff   2005.11.20, 02:50

According to my dictionary insouciantly means “lighthearted indifference.”

Very cool pic…hope you’re feeling better soon!

What in the world is the 2 cents for?

Lovely shot, great composition. I love the “idea” that the sunset is made out of bricks on colour that create the building.

Great picture. I love it.

Wow. This picture is awesome! I thought it was a graphic design thing, and then after looking at it for a while I realized it was real. Cool :)

I was really surprised by this image…and it is beautiful. When one scrolls down from the top it does look at first like something that has been computer generated. Just lovely.

I also thought the picture was enhanced. I’m fascinated by the colors. It’s a fantastic shot.

Thanks, everyone — glad you like it.

It is enhanced, of course. Mightily. There’s a little perspective correction been done since I don’t have a tilt-shift lens, and the saturation got a bit of a boost (OK, quite a big boost).
