I really like the colors and contrast in this photo. It’s got a lot going on there too. Very nice.

I like how much black is on this street front. I’ve never seen anything like that in the states.

Thanks. I was a bit surprised by the way the colours came out on this. I mixed a monochrome version of the picture and superimposed it over the original, set the blend mode to multiply, and lowered the opacity to get the darkness without it hopefully being too murky. Then a curves adjustment layer let me push things around a little more.

Looks very differnt to me. I guess the people there pfrefer calm pallid colors for decoration.
