Absolutely breathtaking. For some reason it reminds me of “The Vicar of Dibley,” Christmas Eve in Bethlehem, a cathedral, the smell of old warm wood, and the glorious ear-ringing silence that goes along with being out in the middle of nowhere. All at the same time.

(That was probably only worth $0.01; I’ll try harder next time.)

Oh….add Brother Cadfael to that list, too.

Off to Google Vicar of Dibley and Brother Whatshisname…

Hi, I found your blog through a Japanese bloggers listing, and just wanted to say that I think all of your photos are excellent! It’s been a while since I’ve lived in Japan, but the pictures I saw on your site certainly jogged the old memories. Thanks for that.

Wow man, nice site - I’m super impressed that you’re the guy who invented those little icons that everyone uses (including me).

Good job, and definite big contribution to the Internet Websites!

Beautiful photo. It reminds me of a bed & breakfast I stayed at in Salisbury (England) at the time of a family funeral. It turned out that in the guy’s (converted) farmhouse he had a harpsichord workshop, so I went along and gave him a little recital.

Superb photograp, I am myself a experience photographer even if I do not have much time taking pictures now, I have huge responsabilities working as a COB Engineering Team Leader at Citigroup Services Japan but I still can appreciate art when I see it.
