Man Shoots Laptop

This story is going to get repeated like crazy.

US man shoots laptop
BBC

An American man may face charges after he apparently shot his laptop computer in frustration after it kept crashing […] Mr Doughty admitted in police reports that he should not have shot his laptop, but said that at the time it had seemed appropriate.

No word on what kind of laptop it was. Not a Macintosh, I’d suspect (people don’t shoot them: they send them to counselors).

It was a Dell. So it was probably justifiable :)

The man should probably sue Microsoft for their amazing operating system and the effect it has on people.

Great article Jeremy. I’m surprised this hasn’t happened before but I don’t think the guy should get a very bad sentence. He at least had the courtesy to warn the patrons before firing. The hanging of the laptop like a trophy was a nice touch too.
