Edward Burtynsky wins TED Prize

Via WorldChanging.com: Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky has won one of the three inaugural TED Prizes.

Great to see that Burtynsky is working with WorldChanging.com to “encourage a massive and productive worldwide conversation about sustainable living.” This is bound to be very interesting.

Include education of sustainable development in the school curriculum-the conscience of the masses could be infuenced by showing that future quality of life is relative to choices made in purchases, personal habits, consumption choices.

Legislate companies to devote a section of ‘their’ annual reports the degree of contribution made to sustainable development against a predetemined set of benchmarks.
